BiRthDaYs... too much fun!

Well, I had my 21st on 11/11. It was great! I worked the night shift before so I got to sleep in and lounge around all day! Then, Kim and Brett, my sis and bro in law and my grandparents met us at the Market Street Grill. I highly recommend it. delish!!! Then we went to my grandparents for cake, ice cream, and presents!

Look at my awesome cake! My sweet husband made it. He had about 5 bowls with different color frostings that he dyed to make the balloons just right :) Love him!

Then, we just had Jerrick's birthday on December 3rd. We went out to Tucci's! He looooves Italian! A couple of his sisters drove up with their fam. It was a lot of fun. Then we opened presents and had cake at our humble abode. We also played American Idol on the playstation... we had a lot of fun with that even though Crystal made Big J FAIL! haha :) it's ok we still love her. He had a good birthday even though the cake I make started to fall apart... oops :/

Do you recognize Capt. Jack Sparrow?? :) Jerrick is just my little artist! He just didn't have quite enough pumpkin carving fun for one year so the day before Halloween he decided he needed to carve one more pumpkin "to have a fresh one for halloween"... I knew it was really because it is his chance to make some art! He really is talented. He was excited to show me the finished product and the trick-or-treaters loved it. It's crazy how it just looks like a mess until you put the light inside!

Carving Pumpkins

Last weekend we to my sister Kim and her husband Brett's home for a fun Halloween dinner and to carve pumpkins! My other sister Katy came with the surprise that her and her boyfriend Josh just got engaged. It was a fun evening! Kim and Brett carved the kitty on top, Jerrick carved the Tiki, I carved the cute Frankenstein and Katy and Josh made the owl. Aren't they cute?!

This is the whole gang of the evening around the dinner table. Kim went over and beyond. She is seriously the cutest ever! All the food was adorably decorated. We had witches fingers for breadsticks and orange chocolate covered pretzels. As you can see in the photo, she decked out the table in cute halloween stuff and even small decorative squashes! She is so amazing.

Three sisters in a row! Can you believe that we all wore purple?! It was so funny. I love my sisters! 

Football Fun

YAY! Football games are so much fun! We went to the Utah vs Colorado State game today. Jerrick usually works every Saturday night, but this week's game was at noon so we were able to go. Jeremiah, Jerrick's brother, was also able to come with us! First of all, students get tickets free to the games you just have to pick them up ahead of time with your U card. So we get to the game, and we have to walk to the student entrance on the complete other side of the stadium to get in. So we walk around. Then, they scan your u card when you are entering and mine wouldn't work. Who knows why?! So they made me buy one for 10 bucks... kind of a bummer when you are planning on getting in for free. Anyway, other than that we had a great time kicking Colorado State's hiney. (The final score was 49-16... not bad Utes!!!) Here are some pics of us and the muss :) The wave made it all the way around the stadium several times it was great.

Our Wedding Day

This beautiful June day turned out to be all that I expected! We were sealed in the morning in the Salt Lake Temple, after which we were greeted by all of our family; and Jerrick has a very large family. It was amazing despite waiting forever for our chance to take photos (apparantly the Salt Lake Temple is very busy in June . . . ). Afterward we had a yummy luncheon at The Lion House and a reception later that night at Heritage Gardens. It was so beautiful! We made our getaway in Jerrick's car decked out with honeymoon decorations, courtesy of my wonderful bridesmaids. It was a day I will never forget, as no girl ever should.

My mom and bridesmaids were all so amazing! I love them so much! 

Above we have Kim, Lindsey, and Katy. The blondes are my sisters and Lindsey is like my sister. She flew from Ohio to be with me on my special day! hmmm I think they started to have a little too much fun though...

I aboslutely LOVED my cake! It actually tasted really good too, although it was such a shame to even cut it.

And of course, the wedding wouldn't be complete without me breaking my daddy's heart. This was our dance together. I cried everytime I even thought about it before the big day! I will still always be a daddy's girl though :)
