Welcome Baby Jaxson!

Jerrick and I had a beautiful baby nephew born recently.They named him Jaxson and he is just so precious! I had to post a few pictures as proof :) We are so excited for Jerrick's brother and his wonderful family. With two daughters this little baby boy was just what they needed! We love him so much. Congratulations you guys!

Spring Break

So we thought we would take advantage of our Spring Break and go to St. George... even though we had to be back Monday for work. It was still nice to get away last weekend and see some real sunshine! The 80 degree weather was pretty tough to leave. It was great to see Jerrick's sister and her four cute boys. I know the picture is deceiving... it looks like a family photo and that we suddenly have children. Not quite :) They sure are cute though. We saw Jerrick's parents, a few more siblings and some great friends from his high school.

Jerrick was really excited to see his dog Sisco. No, not after the thong song... he says that song ruined her name forever. Anyway, he gave her quite the little bath treatment. I caught a nice action picture :)
She was so cute Jerrick couldn't resist taking a bunch of pictures of her...

Oh, and of the cat that his dad is obsessed with. I don't know what he would do if it ran away it is so cute.

That was our exciting Spring Break!! Work for the rest of the week but hey, no classes and I got to see my hubby quite a bit more than usual. We actually got to spend a couple WHOLE DAYS together! Now, I'm just postponing the work that I need to do for Monday. Apparantly break can't last forever...

Welcoming 2009

We had fun ringing in the New Year at my grandparent's house. My parents were in town for my little sister's wedding (which was wonderful and I will post pictures as soon as I get them from her)! Anyway, Kim and Brett came too. My grandpa was so cute... he really got into the little horns and livened up the party :) Meanwhile, Grandma was trying to sleep... Here's some pictures of all of us starting off 2009 in style.

Our Definately White Christmas

Our first Christmas as a married couple turned out great! Working Christmas Eve was kind of stinky... but after work we headed down to Spanish Fork to stay with some family. Jerrick's parents drove up from St. George and so many of his nieces, nephews, and siblings were able to make it. We got to meet our newest nephew who was born a week before Christmas. He is so cute! I got a new camera so I had fun taking tons of pictures. The snow got so bad that we stayed an extra night and got back to Salt Lake a little later than planed... but it worked out fine.

We all worked together and gave Jerrick's parents a book full of pictures, letters and testimonies for them. They loved it! It was such a thoughtful present that they put together and it was great to see their reaction when they got it.

We had a little talent show... the boys love playing guitar together and they sounded great! This is Jerrick and his brother Jeremiah.

Hayden is so cute! I love him! We got some really cute pics of him. Below is Jerrick with all of the Stevens boys... Tyce, Kaysen, Trae and baby Hayden. They are all adorable!

BiRthDaYs... too much fun!

Well, I had my 21st on 11/11. It was great! I worked the night shift before so I got to sleep in and lounge around all day! Then, Kim and Brett, my sis and bro in law and my grandparents met us at the Market Street Grill. I highly recommend it. delish!!! Then we went to my grandparents for cake, ice cream, and presents!

Look at my awesome cake! My sweet husband made it. He had about 5 bowls with different color frostings that he dyed to make the balloons just right :) Love him!

My amazing Grandma and Grandpa Kummer. Of everyone I know, they have the largest hearts.

Then, we just had Jerrick's birthday on December 3rd. We went out to Tucci's! He looooves Italian! A couple of his sisters drove up with their fam. It was a lot of fun. Then we opened presents and had cake at our humble abode. We also played American Idol on the playstation... we had a lot of fun with that even though Crystal made Big J FAIL! haha :) it's ok we still love her. He had a good birthday even though the cake I make started to fall apart... oops :/

Do you recognize Capt. Jack Sparrow?? :) Jerrick is just my little artist! He just didn't have quite enough pumpkin carving fun for one year so the day before Halloween he decided he needed to carve one more pumpkin "to have a fresh one for halloween"... I knew it was really because it is his chance to make some art! He really is talented. He was excited to show me the finished product and the trick-or-treaters loved it. It's crazy how it just looks like a mess until you put the light inside!
